Upon checking into Yivinaca during Cartagena's vibrant carnival season, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's convenient location-just steps away from various dining options and lively nightlife streets. The room, while clean and modern, had a somewhat sterile feel akin to a college dorm. However, the welcoming staff, particularly Breiner and Maria Jose, made up for any shortcomings with their helpful insights and warm hospitality.Although lacking a safety box, I felt secure leaving my valuables in the room, thanks to the reassurance provided by the hotel's staff. The neighborhood's bustling atmosphere and the plethora of nearby restaurants further added to the overall convenience of my stay.In conclusion, while Yivinaca may not exude luxury in every aspect, its value proposition shines through in its friendly service, prime location, and comfortable accommodations-making it a practical choice for cultural tourists seeking a fulfilling experience without breaking the bank.
